JERMAINE Pennant had a furious row with his wife Alice Goodwin after she refused to have a baby “as soon as possible” – which led to them breaking up.
The 36-year-old Celebrity Big Brother star told The Sun Online how the couple went into meltdown over the question of having their first child.

He said that her rejection left him “questioning our bond”, explaining: “I want a baby as soon as possible. She is waiting for the right time.
“That was the argument – when is the right time? There’s never a right time. I started to act like a baby and questioned our bond. We had a row and our rows lead to another row.”
Former Arsenal and Liverpool player Jermaine added: “Being immature I unfollowed her on social media and she unfollowed me. She deleted, I deleted. And the next thing you know we split up.
“We unfollowed each other to get one jealous and one angry. It was tit for tat.”

However, the pair later reunited, with Jermaine insisting that he is going to “get busy” in the bedroom before summer rolls around in the hope of having the baby he has dreamed of.
He told us: “We had another talk and we’ve agreed that there’s never a good time. We’re going to see how the next couple of months go – and then I’m gonna get busy.”
The pair’s bust-up took place soon after they filmed an appearance on brutal dating show Your Face Or Mine, which airs on Comedy Central next month.
It seems a strange move for a couple rocked by the events of last year’s Celebrity Big Brother, when Jermaine was accused of ‘cheating’ on Alice with co-star Chloe Ayling.

He admitted that the Roxanne Pallett punch-gate row ‘took the heat off me’[/caption]
But he claims the scandal of going on the show has all blown over – claiming it was all “just harmless flirting”.
Chloe, 22, claimed she had no idea he had a wife on the outside after being evicted, branding his behaviour “disgusting”.
He told us: “I probably crossed the line a little bit but that’s all it was. It was just harmless flirting and obviously I paid the price when I came out.”
Referring to Alice, he said: “She can understand how it looks and how it is in there. It wasn’t nice for her to see and having to deal with the flak that comes with it but we got through it and we’re fine.”

He even joked that Roxanne Pallett“took a lot of the heat off me” because of the ‘punch-gate’ row where she falsely accused Ryan Thomas of hitting her in the house.
“It’s bad what happened to her and Ryan but it definitely made another talking point in the house,” he said.
“As long as it’s not me, I was happy.”
Your Face Or Mine continues on Wednesday 10th April at 8pm on Comedy Central UK
