JERMAINE Pennant sickened fans when he revealed he used to play a game where he charged rent to his mates for sleeping with the same women.
Horrified Jeremy Kyle fans took to Twitter to air their disgust at the shocking revelation.
The Celeb Big Brother star and his wife Alice Goodwin appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show to discuss their recent marital woes.
While chatting with the controversial chat show host, Jermaine confessed to playing a Monopoly-style game with his mates.
But instead of paying rent for landing on each other’s property, they coughed up if they had slept with the same woman.
Jermaine explained: “If I’d be with one (girl) then the following week, my friend, and the following week, someone else.
“So we said, ‘let’s play a game.’ It was a way of twisting it on them – it was called Monopoly.
“If you get with a girl and she gets with them the following week, you’re going to have to pay me rent.”
The audience gasped at the former footie star’s confession as host Jeremy shook his head in disbelief.
And viewers at home were left horrified.
Many took to Twitter to air their disgust at the “mind blowing” game.
One wrote: “Jermaine pennant went on Jeremy Kyle and told him how him and his mates would pay rent for shagging the same birds what a world we’re living in.”
And another said they: “Switched on the telly and was surprised to see Jermaine Pennant on there. Within a couple of minutes it made perfect sense. That Monopoly story – f***s sake.”
While another noted that: “The lack of respect for women is mind blowing. Paying rent????? bloody hell.”
Others couldn’t believe that Jermaine could make such a confession in front of his wife.
One wrote:”She looked as if she never knew about his book (certainly not read it ) & the monopoly game he used to play or the so called fact THEY wanted kids WTF is this!”
Elsewhere on the show, the couple insisted their marriage is on good terms and they’re even ready to start trying for a family, as they spoke to host Jeremy Kyle during the programme which airs Friday 19 at 09:25.
But Jermaine jokingly stormed off set when Jeremy offered him the chance to prove he has nothing hide by doing one of the show’s famous lie detector tests.
The ex-Liverpool winger, 35, said: “I’m alright. I’m good. But I’m not coming on the show to do one. Behind closed doors.”
Jeremy was keen to find out what’s in store next for the couple, with Jermaine revealing: “Go for a baby. I tried last night.
“I’d be happy with one but I don’t know if she’d be happy with two.”
The couple have been married since 2014[/caption]
Their appearance on the ITV show covered Jermaine’s flirting with kidnap model Chloe Ayling, 21, in the Big Brother house.
Jermaine apologised to his wife following his eviction from the show, which she refused to be in the audience for.
Fellow CBB housemate Chloe Ayling launched a furious tirade against ‘immature’ Jermaine after the she had spent days flirting with him, claiming she did not know he was married[/caption]
Alice explained: “I was a bit upset. I was sat at home waiting for him to explain himself.
“I was a bit p****d off because he acted immature in there, there’s no doubt about that.
“He acted a bit childish for sure. But like I say nothing physical went on, it got blown out of proportion. I was never going to leave him. He’s never cheated on me.
“Jermaine can act immature. It’s a game — he played the game, she played the game.

“The lack of communication between me and him at this point in time is the thing I struggled with.
“We’ve had discussions and there have been confusions for us both. Jermaine also has emotions and thought processes I don’t also understand all the time. We have had conversations and we have cleared things up on both sides I would say.
“But there was never at any point where I thought I can’t trust what he’s about to do or what he may have done or what he may do.”
Jermaine won her back following rounds of crisis talks and a slap up home-cooked chicken dinner.
He got down one knee last weekend to ask Alice to renew their vows in order to have a fresh start.
