Jermaine Pennant’s wife Alice tells Jeremy Kyle he’s ‘never cheated’ despite Chloe Ayling revealing they had VERY intimate moment in CBB house

JERMAINE Pennant’s wife Alice Goodwin has insisted that he “never cheated” on her.

The model appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show today and said she has always trusted him – despite fellow housemate Chloe Ayling revealing they shared an intimate moment in Celebrity Big Brother.

Their appearance on the ITV show covered Jermaine’s flirting with kidnap model Chloe, 21, in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The model claimed she and Jermaine had shared an intimate moment in bed in the CBB house before she knew he was married.

Chloe launched a furious tirade against “immature” Jermaine after she spent days flirting with him.

Jermaine apologised to his wife following his eviction from the show, which she refused to be in the audience for.

Discussing the situation, Alice, who married the footballer in 2014, said Jermaine never once gave her cause for concern although the situation left her with a bad taste in her mouth.

She explained: “I was a bit upset. I was sat at home waiting for him to explain himself. I was a bit p****d off because he acted immature in there, there’s no doubt about that.

“He acted a bit childish for sure. But like I say nothing physical went on, it got blown out of proportion. I was never going to leave him. He’s never cheated on me.

She added: “Jermaine can act immature. It’s a game — he played the game, she played the game. The lack of communication between me and him at this point in time is the thing I struggled with.

“We’ve had discussions and there have been confusions for us both. Jermaine also has emotions and thought processes I don’t also understand all the time. We have had conversations and we have cleared things up on both sides I would say.

“But there was never at any point where I thought I can’t trust what he’s about to do or what he may have done or what he may do.”

According to the pair, their marriage is on good terms and they’re even ready to start trying for a new baby.

The couple are already raising two children together.

But Jermaine jokingly stormed off set when Jeremy offered him the chance to prove he has nothing hide by doing one of the show’s famous lie detector tests.

Meanwhile, Jermaine’s fans have took to Twitter to mercilessly mock his appearance on The Jeremy Kyle Show.

Viewers were left utterly baffled by his and wife Alice’s decision to air their dirty laundry on the ITV morning stalwart following his unsuccessful stint on Celebrity Big Brother in August.

A fans pondered: “Jermaine Penant has gone from playing in the Champions League final to appear on The Jeremy Kyle Show.”

“Is Jermaine Pennant that broke or that attention seeking that he’s now resorted to going on the #JeremyKyle show,” another claimed.

One perplexed fan wrote: “Jermaine pennant on jeremy kyle apparently. The end of the world is nigh! I’m stocking up on supplies as I type this! #endoftheworld”.

There appeared to be a general consensus of confusion on the micro-blogging site as many fans echoed the same sentiment as one user: “Jermaine Pennant is on Jeremy Kyle wtf”.
